Introductory Statement
At BibleStart.com we feel very strongly that children must be well grounded in Bible basd values and behavior, as well as basic Bible knowledge, before they enter grade school (including private Christian schools). Once your child begins to observe and to be influenced by their peers they can easily be nudged toward improper actions, thoughts, and attitudes. The first six formative years are so important for your child. Spending just minutes a day with him or her in real Bible lessons and discussion will help put your child on a Godly path. Please, for the sake of your child, utilize BibleStart.com or other meaningful Bible based resources to raise your child. Failing to take action now may lead to challanges for your precious child later.
Hoping you the very best in Christian parenting, Larry and Dixie Burks

However, here is a summary of how to use BibleStart.com courses/lessons:
After subscribing, simply log on and go through the four pages of a lesson. Read the text to your child, prompting him or her to recite the text. This only takes a minute or two each day. The goal is to have your child see the image and tell the story. Much like a regular story book your child will learn the content by repetition.
Typically, by the second or third day, children ages 3 and older will be able to recite the lesson text simply by seeing the related pictures. Even the younger children who can not talk clearly yet will be trying to "tell the story". This form of memorization further reinforces the lesson objectives in your child.
After spending 5 to 7 days on the current lesson, click on a new lesson for the upcoming week. Or, you may create your own schedule of going through BibleStart.com lessons, such as going through several lessons at a time.
Each lesson provides free optional Practical Application ideas and Memory Keys that will help reinforce the lesson principles throughout the week. Printable Coloring Pages of the lesson images are also free for your use.
Since each of the courses consist of ten lessons, your child will complete a course in about ten weeks. Spending one week per lesson is recommended because the repetition and application helps children retain the Biblical principles.
It is recommeded that you complete the lessons in the order they are given for maximum benefit to your child. When your child has completed a course, you can print off a Certificate of Course Completion for your little achiever!
We also provide Memory Games and Puzzles for your child that feature BibleStart.com images.
Another valuable tool is the Progress Charts. These can be used for your child to place his or her favorite stickers on to show accomplishment, for you to track which lessons have been mastered, and quick access to Memory Keys. This is a very helpful and fun tool!
We also provide BibleStart Desktop Backgrounds for you to use. Doing so may help you remember to experience the BibleStart.com opportunities regularly.
